The Good Behaviour Game

The Good Behaviour Game

The Good Behaviour Game (GBG) is an evidence-based approach to classroom management that helps children learn how to work together to create a positive learning environment. Since its initial development in the 1960s, a number of trials across the USA, Europe and Africa have shown its effectiveness in promoting a range of positive outcomes as well as a reduction in risky behaviours in later years.

We are now preparing for a UK trial, funded by the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF). This two-year trial will offer primary schools in the Northwest of England the exciting opportunity to take part in ground-breaking research measuring the impact of the GBG intervention in UK schools.
